This guide explains the features that make the biggest difference to how a massage chair feels, then compares the five ROTAI chairs we sell in the UK side by side.
3D or 4D rollers
The rollers in the backrest do most of the work. A 3D mechanism moves up and down, side to side and in and out, so you can choose how deep the massage goes. The A39 has a 3D roller that adjusts in width from 3.5 cm to 20 cm, so it can work closely around the neck and shoulders.
A 4D mechanism also controls speed and rhythm, so the massage can speed up and slow down instead of running at one steady pace. The S56Pro uses a 4D SmartSync mechanism with four separate motors for walking, tapping, kneading and radial movement. The A68Pro has a 4D and a 3D mechanism working on the same track.

S-track or SL-track
The track is the rail the rollers travel along. An S-track follows the curve of your spine from the neck to the lower back. An SL-track carries on under the seat, so the rollers also reach the glutes and the top of the thighs. If you sit for long hours or carry tension in your hips, an SL-track is worth having.
The RT6891, S56Pro and A68Pro all have an SL-track. The S56Pro’s track is 125 cm long. On the A68Pro the upper mechanism travels up to 840 mm and the lower one up to 830 mm, with a 360 mm overlap across the middle of the back.

Zero gravity and recline
Zero gravity reclines the chair so your legs rise to around the level of your heart. Your weight spreads across the backrest, which helps reduce pressure on the spine and lets the rollers press in more evenly.
The A39 reclines between 130° and 155° and adds rocking and a sleep mode. The A68Pro has two zero gravity positions between roughly 131° and 163°. The RT6891 has two zero gravity positions and a 16 cm extendable footrest, and the A37 combines zero gravity with a rocking function.

Airbags, heat and foot rollers
Airbags inflate and release around the shoulders, arms, calves and feet. More airbags usually means wider coverage: the A68Pro has 40, the A37 has 28 and the S56Pro has 24.
Heat helps tight muscles relax. The A37 has heating pads at around 42–45°C for the back and upper body. The A39 heats the waist and lower back, the RT6891 heats the lower back and calves, and the S56Pro has three heat levels. The A37, A39, RT6891 and S56Pro all have foot rollers.

Will it fit in your home?
Measure the route in before you order: the front door, hallways, any turns on the stairs and the doorway of the room. Leave space around the chair so it can recline fully.
As a guide, the RT6891 measures 1470 × 730 × 1140 mm upright and 1760 × 730 × 820 mm fully reclined. It weighs 73 kg and arrives in a box of 1440 × 770 × 880 mm. For the size of any other model, email support@wellnece.co.uk before you order and we will send it to you.
